I vote for cam choice #2 & 1.6 rockers! LOL
 
I really wish I had more miles on mine so I could give some feedback on durability the MRL lifters. I bought the Pro-Plus with the larger rollers. The springs have over 200 seat and 600 open pressure. Cam is 266/272 @.050 and (was) shifting at 7200. The engine only has about 220 miles on it with 8 passes at the track, but no issues thus far with the lifters.
 
I have 100% faith in the lifters Mike developed. And in OU812's for that matter. What I worry about is race technology in a street car being ignored like most street engines are. Race parts are normally carefully set up, looked at regularly, and looked after. So as long as you make sure the setup is right from the start, and keep looking to make sure nothing's changing there should not be any problem.
 
When the camshaft selection is finalized I will contact the manufacturer. I'm especially
interested in whether I can use the ovate beehive springs. Thanks for all of your input.
