So I searched and didn't come up with anything, I'm trying to wire my msd box so I can start my car with my key and not a screw driver on my starter relay, Does anyone know where I need to tap into? I had it tapped into a spot on the driver side fire wall, a small regtanular selonoid with 2 connecters for wires to go on, and it works but I think the voltage drop after initial start turns my msd box off for saftey reasons. any help would be greatfull.

I'm running MSD 6aL, MSD Coil and MSD distributor.

Have you looked in the MSD site. Most any hookup is there. Are you disconnecting the ballast resistor. If so, you have to hook the 2 wires for the ballast resistor together. The car will start without them being together but then shut off as soon as you let go of the key if they are not connected.

I didn't have the 2 wires from the ballast resister connected together. I believe that was my problem :p thanks for the help guys!
