Hid it in the glove box along with the buzz filter for radio. Coil is on the inner fender next to the distributor (440). MSD box is supposed to have airflow for cooling but mine never got hot and was in there for 8+ years.

I mounted mine to the glove box lid, makes it real easy to adjust the digital 6 if needed. The coil is stock location.

Don't have a picture of the MSD-7al3 box but it is mounted inside where blower motor normally would be
