My vote is for the Dynomax Ultraflows. They make a Mopar sound like a Mopar. Deep and throaty. I have a set on my 414 stroker. They sound absolutely glorious cruising on the hwy at 2500 rpm.

I'm partial to flowmasters myself. If the drone bugs you, you're too old.
I tend to agree. I like them too. But I cannot afford the real thing. I got some Summit knockoffs to go on my truck from a member here. I already have Summit knockoffs on it now, but when I put the headers on it, I will go from 2" to 3" exhaust with turn downs at the rear axle. Should sound good.
To me, most any turbo or chambered muffler sounds good on a hot or well tuned engine. The only mufflers I cannot stand are glasspacks. They are just stupid.

I have these mufflers on TTI headers with TTI 3 inch "X" pipe dumped just before the rear end.
The turn downs are angled towards the outside. It is so freaking loud! But when you are sitting at the red light and give the gas peddle a little blip, heads start turning. The drone below 1200 RPM will almost make you jump out of the car and push it to the nearest muffler shop.

If you went through the challenge and trouble of building a 565hp engine, for the life of me I wouldn't know why you won't care the least about actual 'flow-numbers' of a muffler, and seemingly just about the noise-factor.

Hey, What's wrong with Dynomax Ultra Flow's, Hooker Aerochambers or Hooker Max Flow's??
From all the testing i have seen the Hooker Max Flow is one of the best flowing muffler out there.
I didn't ask for a race muffler suggestion as I just would have slapped the race bullets on it.
Keep in mind this is more of a street car. I cruise around with my 2 young kids so I'm looking for a compromise.

Drone has nothing to do with being loud, it just has to do with a crappy design. Ultra flo's are louder than flowmasters, so the "old" joke doesn't apply.
If you like the tinny, "something's broken" rattling sound the flowmasters give you at idle and the godawful reverberating drone at cruise, it's possible you're just deaf already.
I've never had any drone at all from the welded Ultra-Flo's on my Duster. It's been my experience that they're a bit louder than most of the equivalent flowmaster models, but not by a lot. In my Duster I run them behind a 340 with a set of Doug's headers and a 2.5" dual exhaust with no crossover. I like them so much I already bought a set of 3" Ultra-Flo's for my Satellite, and there's a good chance they'll end up on my Challenger and my Dart too.

Different strokes for different folks. I happen to like the metallic-like rumble of flowmasters at idle. Any little bit of drone from them doesn't bother me at all. The idle makes up for it. They bug the old lady down the street though. The dynomax mufflers I had before seemed a little too muffled for my liking.

The video I posted speaks for it's self . U have a damn muscle car who cares about drone. You sound like all the mustang owners that cry about everything. If u want no DRONE by a bmw m3 and be done with it . Old cars don't handle well,make noise, always need attention , aren't the most comfortable ride no matter what I do too it. So if u can't handle that buy a coyote mustang or modern car

Yup, I'm with Rocco on this one.
My old car handles well, has a ride quality very similar to a modern mustang and is about as comfortable. It rarely needs much attention despite my using it as my daily driver, although I do keep working on it to improve it further. It is loud, it does make noise, and it does require a bit more effort to drive than a new car because everything is manual. And it doesn't drone, because like I already said before, "drone" and "loud" don't have to be synonymous. You can have a loud, good sounding muscle car exhaust without drone. But just like having an old car that handles well, you have to move past the 70's technology- like flowmasters, and 15" rims with BFG t/a's, tiny torsion bars and crappy shocks.
So maybe you should speak for yourself. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean that no one can.

I went with a TTI 3 " x pipe and Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers. I had them on previous cars, and i like the sound.
