Well after I got my new rad in the 69, on Saturday, Me and my freind were emptying a 12 pack in the gararge, He was looking at my 340 Engine, I instaled 3 yrs ago, and said "if I didn't know better, i would say your fan blade is on backwards". I said you can't put them on backwards they are printed with engine side on them. He insisted it was on backwards, so I got a light and was going to show him the printing. Couldn't find it. So then I started looking in earnst, and low and behold on the rad side of the fan blade, under one of the bolts, I found the last half of the word "engine".
The fan has been like that for three yrs. That is probably why It has consistently ran @ 200* F on the road since install. When I flip it around this comming weekend it should drop the temp w/ my new aluminun rad. It's a mopar clutch fan w/a t-stat assy from mopar.
Murpys Law == When a part can be installed backwards, Someone will install it that way.
My funny for the Day.
