I haven't been back since their 3rd show.
Some shows have an "atmosphere" where it just feels right for the occasion. It is an intangible feeling where the cars look great, the people are friendly, the scenery nearby is beautiful and all signs point to a good time.
For me, Van Nuys and Spring and Fall Fling are the tops.
I didn't feel all that "right" at this Las Vegas show. I can't explain it fully but it just didn't feel right despite some very nice cars, a dragstrip and decent weather. Maybe it is the desert landscape that didn't sit well with me. I was at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus in 2004. I knew almost nobody there so it felt like I was dropped into witness relocation situation. The cars were great, fantastic swap meet and some of the nicest people that I ever met. Brice road was still hopping then too.
