just putting my experience out there to help my fellow enthusiasts make an informed decision before using these guys

Ok so about three months ago i find this 422 stroker on fleabay , they are askin 15k made 673 hp on 92 octane . so i went back and fourth messaging . and struck a deal for quite a bit less than asking price. bought it off ebay not through the listing. Long story short i pay them through wire transfer. it takes a couple weeks for them to ship , no big deal. so about a week after i pay the engine is still listed on ebay, i ask why is my engine still listed. i get " oh dont worry about that " listing expires and gets relisted. same pics of the build sheet, dyno sheet and the engine on the dyno . same description . last message i sent them when they told me it would be ready to ship in a day or two was " hey dont forget the cam card, build sheet and dyno sheet for me please " yeah no problem. i get the engine here and it is the engine in the pics , same markings , carb , all of it . i even pulled the intake and everything is correct. only no build sheet, no dyno sheet and no cam card. i message them " sure we will get that to you we are moving shops so everything has been crazy" ok no problem . that was two months ago . a month ago i messaged again . their response " i have everything but the cam card for you " me " OK send it and try to find the cam info" no response . here i am three months after buying this engine no info on it at all . i know whats in the listing because , ITS STILL LISTED ON EBAY item number 113194862796. paid these guys a fortune for this thing and cant get a single shred of paperwork on it . hope the fuckin thing actually runs. i will never ever deal with Muscle Motors again
 
I may be mistaken, but I believe Muscle Motors closed up shop a while back due to family issues. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe this is a different company with a similar name.
 
Dang I hate that buddy! 15 grand is alot to spend and not get what your told your gonna get!!

Well the listing won't come up on Ebay with your item number. I'm always amazed at how people such as yourself are so trusting with people you don't know and send them a large amount of cash not going thru ebay and Pay Pal.

That's odd the listing worked for me.
They have two listed a 425 hp for 5k and the 600hp for 15k
 
Correction 6k not 5!

Pretty dumb buying it off Ebay and Paypal just to get it cheaper with no fees involved. That was your decision. Then come here and cry about it? You had everything at your disposal that would have protected you TWO TIMES OVER, both through Ebay and Paypal. You're your own worst enemy here.

Personally I agree with you if I had 15 grand laying around to spend on my car I'd get up with an engine builder and build one hell of an engine. My way exactly what I wanted.
Other than the cam card i dont see no huge problem with the transaction. I hate that the OP spent 15k and isnt happy with his purchase. I'm willing to bet the engine is fine tho. Most reputable companies Ebay or not isnt gonna have prices like that if its complete garbage and last long imo.

And im never surprised when somebody chimes in to add insult to injury just for somthing to fuckin say. I posted up to help people out not to be made to feel stupid because you domt agree with how i do things jack.

Thank you for your opinion. Whos crying ? I was trying to help some folks out. You people are a bunch of holier than thou assholes. The very reading its hard to stay in the mopar community. **** all of you

The problem began when YOU opted to fall outside of BOTH Ebay's and Paypal's arena. They have rules in place to help YOU the BUYER and you skipped out on them to save a buck. That was dumb.

You're out nothing. No one has ripped you off. It could just be that they are telling you the truth. Moving a business takes time. Message people? Over a 15K purchase? Try picking up the phone. It's pretty obvious from your extremely rude response here that YOU are the problem. I wish you luck getting the information you're after.

And they'll likely flush both the buyer's and seller's accounts for dealing outside Ebay. .......but then, that probably needs to be done anyway.

Nobody was not nice. I was nice. All I said was he did a dumb thing. Who hasn't? It's obvious where the problem is.

Haha I didnt see anything that anyone said that could have been perceived as being assholish or anything.
Rrr did state the fact it wasnt wise to not use PayPal for his own protection.
This guy gonna say eff all yall you all are assholes. I was being nice lol as far as I know we all was lol I thought that is how conversation went they say something we say something back.
Must be one of those snowflakes out of his safe zone :rolleyes:
