Creed was 11 years old and That is me up in the air 10' "as you can see my head is at the second floor level on the drums with my little brother playing bass 8)
We called this band Angie Owens and the Accelerators :-D we was at the Loose Caboose Festival!

Buy yourself a good tuner if you don't have one already, then Google "Guitar Tablature" then type in your favorite artists. Once you understand how to read it (which is very simple) you'll be able to start playing some riffs. It's always more fun to be able to at least play something that to start out just practicing scales and cords etc.

Here is one of me a few years ago playing a song writer round in Nashville. I will try to dig up some of the band I started and toured with in College. It funny this is the picture I found because my ugly *** is now married to the beautiful girl in this picture. She is an excellent musician and songwriter.
