I have a set of bullitt rims i just took off my 72 dart. They are in pretty good condition (driver quality). They have Yokohama es100 245/45/17. some scrapes and dings no real curb rash on them. They need to be balanced. The back tires have about 70% tire left and the front have probably half that I think previous owner had them on the back and burned rubber with them. Im also throwing in the spacers for the front. Not sure of thickness. Also throwing in 2 mustang center caps for the back rims Im located in portsmouth VA would rather have them picked up but can ship them. Asking $350 to cover cost for new tires for my ralley rims.
Thanks for looking.
Anthony

Stock suspension on your 72 Dart? Did they fit the front with just those spacers and the rear as is?
Thanks.

-Mike

I have a lowered suspension and they fit fine. The back fits on like normal and the fronts just use the spacers. Throw some lug nuts on and your ready to go. I do however think you have to take one of the zerk fitting out of the ball joints.

Do you mean the lower ball joint or the tie rod end? I have heard that these 17's can run close to the tie rod ends, but a thin spacer can help with that.
Do you have front disc brakes? I'm assuming you do since the wheels are large bolt pattern. I know the 73 cars had a slightly wider wheel base out front due to the disc brakes being installed, so I may not have as much of a clearance issue.
Thanks for your response. I will wait to hear back and then shoot you a PM regarding buying these.
Thanks.

Also, do you know the backspacing on these? I believe it's 5.72", but if it is, I'm not sure how they fit the rear of your car with no modifications. Thanks.
-Mike

I'd like to see a picture of them on your car.

Agreed. The only time I've heard of Mustang Bullits bolting on to an unmodified Dart Swinger rear end was when a 68-70 B-body rear end was used, which is wider and has room for the 5.72" of backspacing.

Granted, I have one of those rear ends and am indeed interested in these wheels. I just need to confirm fitment before paying for wheels and shipping.

My car has been converted to BBP forgot to mention I have a 8 3/4 rear if that makes a differance. Other wise they bolt right up to my rear. Here is a picture.

You have to remove the ball joint zerk fitting. And yes it is a tight fit but they do fit. Not sure of the backspacing but just look up the 94-04 bullitt rims.

There might be 3/4 offset spring hangers under the rear from the previous owner.

Well....$#!t lol....

Without measuring, I'd have to guess that you had a B-body 8-3/4" rear in the dart. Not sure, but fairly positive.

When you have a chance, if you're considering shipping, please PM me a price shipped to 02896 (North Smithfield, RI).

If not, I guess 4mulaSValiant is next in line. Let me know.

Thank you very much.

Very true... When I put the 8-3/4" rear in my car, I'll also be doing a 3" spring relocation, so it shouldn't matter for me. But that's a good item to note. I always forget about those.

Bill Reilly talks about these on his site and claims they fit

Depends if they're 17x7 or 17x8. 17x7's fit better than 17x8's becuase they don't come as close to the zerk fitting on the tie rod end.
