yeah , but a hemi would cost alot more then what i just bought the 360 for .

That thing has so much character it's not even funny! I keep looking at it and expecting it to end up in a cars movie. It has a face only Mater could love...

I have a low mileage '59 326 and 3sp tq I'd trade you for the 360/727. I'll even give you the buttons. It ran great, but the trans slipped forward, did knarly burnouts in reverse!

thanks for the offer , but i think i'm going to hold on to the 360 for now . i poured gas down the carb and got it to run while steadely squirting gas. its been sitting so long the carb does'nt want to work ,but it sounds good , no smoke , and no knocks .

That is good news. It makes it a lot easier knowing you can swap it in.

Really great to have a runner! If you like, you could simply inspect and regasket, throw it in.

Yes you do have a shop, just like the one I use to have. The great outdoors.

Lol,every time I start to curse my 6x20 tool/work shop I realise Im not working out in the mud and rain of my youth..

You could set up one of those cheap car shters to keep the elements out. Simply lay some plywood up to lay on and build the shelter.

Heck even a weather proof tarp will do. A few 2x4's,some rope and a good size water proof tarp,a bit of ingenuity and you have a home built car shelter that will likely outlast a packaged one.

well the bad thing is , i have bought everything that i need to build a 20' x 30' shop but i have been draging my feet on getting it together .

What have you got for engine mounts?

i have been looking on line for some or atleast to see what they look like , but have'nt found anything . i guess i will have to break out the torch and welder when time comes .

Is the rain helping?

the rain is very much needed here , we are way , WAY behind on rain fall for the year . i think i will get out there with my tractor and the post hole attatchment and start digging some holes . should be easy with the wet ground .

Good Luck on digging holes and I hope y'all get out of the Drought.

That is cool- even if you fixed it up and just used it as an A-to-B putt around rig, it's just got a vibe to it that gives it credit!

yeah , just an easy going runner is what i am wanting . nothing to fancy .
