Signets generally have chrome (? may be stainless steel; haven't looked that hard) side-window frames, a trim strip between the tail lights on the lower edge of the decklid and rocker panel trim. 100s...Generally have body-color window frames, no trim strip between the tail lights on the decklid and no rocker trim. The grills are the same. The dashes are different.

Im new to this site. I have a 1968 valiant 2dr post and i was wondering how to tell if my car was a valiant 100 or a valiant signet?

the signet serial # will start with VH

Here's some pics of the '68 Valiant '400' our club built as our 2008 charity raffle car project. '400' since we but a 400ci big-block in it. Also had RMS AlterKtion front and Street Lynx rear suspension setup.

So Ive gotten to do a little work. Got the engine bay all cleaned up and painted and got the k member and front suspension back on. Motor will hopefully be going in this weekend.

Did the black out treatment for the grills.

Drums gone hello disks.

Swapped out the .81 bars for the .85 bars.

Got the motor in this week shes getting close.

And tried to get the headers to fit but ran in to nothing but problems. So for now manifolds. Just gotta get them striped then paint and install. Hoping to have it running this weekend.
