I like the body of the valiant. Any idea on where you are headed with it? Theme, etc...? :)

Removed the BB 383 from this car now installing a 340 with a 727 car has an 8-3/4" rear with 4:10 gear, This will be a nice street car when finished hoping to run 11.50's through the mufflers, The engine was one a good friend of mine had in his 1970 Dart and he run 10.60's with it with a bigger cam and more gear should be a fun street car cruise nights here we come !

Well I'm going to finish the firewall and the engine bay and paint it all blue like the car under side of the hood as well and the engine and trany will be going in from the bottom with the engine being painted Red as it should be with a pair of 273 factory valve covers and air cleaner pie pan the intake is a ported LD340 painted red as well along with a solid lifter Cam from Hughes with .600 / .615 lift and a 3200 stall converter to get it moving

Sounds like a potent power combo to me. That thing will be a screamer. Can't go wrong with B5 blue. Definitely a winner :burnout:

progress on the floor replacement today as there was a couple of soft spots check it out :

nice work! what did you use to clean up the inner frame rails, and treat the rust? blast and paint? or get the heavy stuff off with a wire wheel, get what ya can, and then spray?

Working on fitting a bigger tire under it now

15 X 10 Cragar Super Tricks Vintage look

13.50 X 30 X 15" Mickey Thompson ET STREETS

Reworked the inner wheel wells and moved the springs into the frame also stretched the wheel well opening by two inches to the front of the car should work well .

Gotta hook up that high winding 273 power pack !
