Just wanted to share my restoration project. This car and article on how I found it is in the August 2011 Mopar Muscle magazine in rare finds. The beginning pictures are how I found it, the last 2 are what it looks like now, except the engine and trans are out. The car is ready for the blaster, I just have to save up enough money to have it done. He already did the doors, fenders, trunk, and hood. The body is next.
The car is going to be the original burnt orange metallic, and will have black interior, but this time will be buckets and center console car. Someone changed out the column to a floor shifter model, which is good for me. They also were changing it to a 4 speed, but I want to keep it as an auto, so I took the pedal setup out and sold it.
This is the wife's car that she wanted me to build, so now I am getting started on it as my 71 Challenger is almost done.

Look's like you have a nice solid start ! Good luck with the build .

I was surprised how clean it was. Originally it was a South Carolina car, then it got moved up here to the rust belt in Illinois. I saved it from the previous owner who left it outside. He had it for 2 years up here. Now it resides in a garage away from the elements.
