I'm finally getting around to posting a picture of my 1972 Duster that I inherited from my Dad. Try to disregard my motorcycle.

It's all factory except the interior which was white, my Dad changed it to black. He bought it in 1974. Here's a list of items I need/tasks to do a full restoration,

- a new dashboard
- hemi-orange paint to touch up some spots.
- glove box
- the stripes
- a rim for one of the rear tires
- need to fix the heater
- fix the instrument panel, it doesn't light up with the headlights on, I can't see my gages at night
- I need to clean the engine
- replace all mirrors
- get the rust off of the tail pipes and rims

Also, for some reason when I switch to the bright lights my headlights turn off.

Ah yes. In '74 me and my brother went with him to trade another car he had for it. Let me put how long ago that was in perspective. I sat in the back seat, my 2 year old brother stood in the front passenger seat. No seat belt law. It's the same car he taught me how to drive with.

But here is a true gem he left behind, he also left me a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury that he bought brand new, he was the only one who owned it and in 2015 it's sitting under my garage ready for a new coat of paint. By the the way when I say me I mean we as in he left them for me and my brother. The 383 in this car is ready to fire up and hit the road right this minute. This is the car he taught my mom how to drive on.

My Dad loved this Fury so much (and all the family knew it) that when he passed we used a picture of him leaning on it with a cold one in his hand taken from around 1967 for his obituary picture...

...the Fury is also engraved on his tombstone people.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!

Welcome to FABO!

Move that motorcycle and get better pictures to post of the duster.

I have a friend who has a 67 Fury with a 383 4bbl, bench seat, 4 speed, 4 door...

He loves that car, just as much as your dad loves yours....
