Hi there, just to entertain you, here are some pics about my resto-job
when i bought the car in the Netherlands
a 1965 Barracuda - VIN V855129268
and a short question btw. these rims are weld prostar, are they? i´m not sure (the only thing i found was "type60" on the backside)
and now some pics from the resto...
after all that stripping and rubbing down the dirt an other **** - the car was sandblasted, that gave´s me some time to a little paintwork on the engine
back from the blast...
we used a 2-k epoxy-primer and then paint the underside of the car with a black spar-varnish
a lot more work to do.... (we tried to use lead where-ever it was possible - only min. bondo)
we also "ripped off" the cowl to get the rust out
and also some new skin for the lower door parts
and these are the newest pics - the paintjob was done - "as the rolling-stones told us: paint it black"
and put the enginge back where it´s place is..
and that what it looks now - i´d finished the resto last weekend (sorry only cellphone pics)
