my 7 1/4 rear end is busted NEED HELP

so guys, my 7 1/4 rear end has got two busted axles, and i need them replaced.

in advanced, i am not looking to swap my rear end, cause the 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 is impossible to find in denmark.

the car is a 65 dodge dart 4 dr 170 slant six. the 7 1/4 is 51.400 inch with the 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern.

so basically i just need help to fix the axle problem.

if i find another rear end, but is's much longer than my stock one, can i cut so it fit's or is that too much work ?

they got cracks along the axle shaft, i took both of them out. almost cracked in half

I find it hard to believe a slant 6 cracked 2 axles

7.25 rear ends were available with 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern after 73 factory.

Yes that I know. Need one I have one in a 75 valiant. OP stated he had a 65 4 dr Dart.

That link is for a Dakota axle — completely different. I think the only axles he will be able to find for his 7.25 will be used. But they should be reasonably common at the big Mopar wrecking yards in small bolt pattern. I don't understand how he wound up with large bolt pattern unless he deliberately converted.

Got a driver side big bolt 7.25 abody axle 5×4.5 pattern...$35 plus the astronomical shipping to holland..

Agreed, it's hard to believe he broke two axle shafts. Usually the spider gears break first.....then the side gears.
