My 80s dream !

-
I had a few of them over the years . Last one was a 66 , H&H , 425 ci . Had Keystone Klassics and Kelly Supercharger white letters , still had the curtains in the windows . Drove it for a little over a year . Lost it in the flood of 1993 . Damn Mississippi River !

I always wanted to get a hearse and have the license plate say "URNEXT" I think it would have gotten peoples' attention!

The license plate on mine was MBLMD1 . I got asked a few times what that was . Embalmed 1 ? I thought it was pretty cool .

This was my 80s dream.

My '59 was in ok shape when I bought it ..I got in 1998 from a junk yard in Great Bend Kansas for $500 ...'59 Buick hearse and Ambulances are RARE!!! here are a coupl of pics of some '59 Buuick hearse and ambulances taken in the early '60's The Buicks where made by a company called Flxible they also made buses

Thanks for those photos, those Buicks are incredible! I've heard of Flxible buses,I didnt know they also made hearses and ambulances. The Buick would be my favorite, right up there with the 59 Caddy.

I used to dread going to family weddings because my old aunts and grand mothers would elbow me in the ribs and cackle, "You're next, you're next"....

I finally got them to stop by doing the same thing to them at funerals....
