Don't take this wrong John and Amy :happy10:
But I am so glad you are staying :blob:
I did miss understand and know I see the tribulations you are going through
The city thing you are dealing with I have seen our city pull that BS here before, They get away with it and some time they don't :angry1:
I bet they back up and take this back and do there job and go after a different person know that you have put your foot down :happy10:
As for your family my prayers go out to them and receive what is need soon
You and Amy are a great couple :toothy4:that Treva and I enjoy seeing your threads you post of your good times and that happiness spreads though out my home when you do .
Now set back and enjoy when you can :thumbrig:and keep your mind on what's at hand now.

Wow :shock:I was worried that you was leaving
Thank you for spelling it out for me John :happy10:

Actually, I am leaving.....

In about 4 hours I'm packing the car and we're headed up north to Monticello for the weekend. Some friends of ours have a house up state and we're moving in for a few days. No internet.... no dog to walk (she's staying at the vet for boarding so he can watch her) and no headaches. I see a hot tub and a large glass of Glenlivet in my immediate future..... 8)

Again, sorry for the dramatic post, but sometimes it feels a whole lot better to vent than to keep it in.... Hopefully this weekend will help some more.

Hey, cruise down to Middletown and see if Casa Mia is still open. Some of the best Italian I've ever had. And I grew up in a town owned by Italians.

Have yourself a fun and relaxing weekend!

And if you ever get another chance like those one, I'm two more hours straight up 17/86.

Sorry to hear your having some tuff times.
Hang in there pard, they can't eat ya or take your birthday away.
Tuff times are temperary and things will resolve themselves.
Hope the vaction helps.
See ya when ya get back.

PS:
Your a great mod, Quit worring about what the crybabies
think and bust their heads.
Their like dogshit on a shoe, they track it every where
they go and stink up everything they do then try to blame
somebody else .

Wow John, I would take it easy too if I was you. I know how you feel. Every time I turn around it seems like some one is there to stick it to me. After dealing with all that I can get a little tempermental.... Of course not drinking and "trying" to stop useing chew doesn't make it easier.

John, I've got a t-shirt here that says "Let me drop everything and work on your problem." I used to wear mine to all my church meetings. :toothy10: If I can find another one, buddy, it's on the house!

Great call there Robert! It sounds like John could use a few of those.

Reminds me of a sign I had hanging at my desk during my 19-year tenure in the legal field. "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute a rush on my part." It was right next to the [now infamous] one I still have displayed in my shop today: "In this area sexual harassment will not be reported. However, it WILL be graded."

John, hang in there, keep your chin up, lean on your friends (we're here for ya sweetie), and enjoy your well-deserved weekend out of town.

You know, when you're on the computer and talking Mopars, it's easy to forget that we all have problems to deal with in everyday life. John, no explanation is necessary as to why you would like to step down as a mod and just enjoy the site as an enthusiast. That's a benefit that most all of us just take for granted. Your post about the many obstacles that you are facing everyday speaks volumes as to why folks come here, either for a little relief from everyday life or just to unwind and spend some time doing something they like to do as opposed to what they have to do.

I hope that you can spend some time sorting out the many issues that seem to be calling for your time, and that you can unwind and enjoy your family, your friends and your car a little more as you sort through the issues at hand. Consider the people here your family, and when a family member is down and needs something, we would like to do what's in the best interest of the person or people involved. Sounds like you need a little recharge before hitting the issues head on, and a well deserved one at that. Your friends will be behind you all the way, just as you have been for us!! Take the time to do yourself right and clear out the issues one at a time so you can relax and enjoy the many good things God has blessed you with!!

And if all else fails... give me your address and Nella and I will jump on a plane so she can give you a great big HUG!!! It always works for me!! Take care there bro, and enjoy the break!!! Geof and Nella
