Our condolences both Lori and I have lost our fathers recently. It's ironic to think that the reason it hurts so much is because you loved them so much.
For me parents are superheroes, they will "always" be there, or we hope they will

My Dad was everything to me. I will never be the same but
To reflect things from him to my kids means everything.

Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father. It's tough to lose a parent, the pain will lessen in time, but you will never forget. Cherish the memories!

Tough thing to go through...been 11 years for me, and still miss Pop a lot. My condolences to you and your family on your loss. :-(
 
Sorry for your loss. My dad passed in 1971. My mom in 2008 and a sister in 2001. I still feel the pain. I have great memories. Kim
