Took the 2008 Charger sRT8 down the track 1st time ever. It has 22"s on it, 2.388 60' time with tires spinning a good bit, and my daughters biKe in the trunk ( I forgot it was in there) . I also put it on the scale after and it weighed in at 4550. Shifted at 5500..Next time I will **** it around 6500.. Of course I cannot post video for some reason..12.92

Dang, that's moving out for a tank like that with a crappy 60'!

What was the mph?

geeze 12.9 for 4600 geeze imagine if that thing was 3200 pounds

Man, if running up to 6500 is gonna cause you to lose bowel control, please shift sooner.

I just felt that shifted way to early. Mph was 108 I think.. But I was surprised with the 4550 lbs, that is a heavy car, I am 230 so 4320 lbs. Car has a ton of pull in it, get it to hook and shift at 6300 - 6500 I think I can get 12.20"s?

Damn that thing moves. What mods have been made? I know stock you would be lucky to run a high 13 second pass. I don't think raising the shift point is gonna pick up 7 tenth's, maybe a tenth or two. More traction would get you a better 60' time which would also get you a better et for sure. Basically the entire run all comes down to the first 60'.

When I saw this post I went looking for stock numbers. I found anywhere from 13.3 to 12.9.

Never saw anything like low 14s to high 13s. But I could be wrong.

It has exhause cat back system and a procharger set at 4lbs of boost. The car was dynoes at 507 horsepower at the rear wheels with the 22's on it and only 4lbs of boost. The trouble is traction, spins through the tires on launch. The car really pulls hard, this is why I think theres more there above at 5500..
