.... whatever they want !!! Just like me! True, often car types bring people together and they become friends over similarities. But I have Ford friends, Chevy friends, and friends that only get into cars to go someplace. Character is correct, Caracter not so much !! :D

Mopars Chevy's FOMOCO 911's BMW's none of that matters. Prius drivers however...I'd tread lightly there. ;)

Some of my best racing buddies bled Ford blue.
Good friend restores blue, breathes blue, bleeds blue. He is very knowledgable and has great common sense. Has cool cars too, including our old '66 Fairlane 2dr hrdtp 289

My buddies and I raced at Pomona fairgrounds, when they had the street legal program. One buddy had a 66 Fairlane, with a roller cam 408 Windsor, the other had a 67 Fairlane with a 460. They were both about .3 faster than my 62.
One now deceased, one retired. Still running my 62.

I just wanted to take this time to thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge of the sbm's.

99% of my Mopar friends thru the decades have been 100% MOPAR! I do have a newish friend that is a convert from Ford, but he still has some.
There many Ford and GM cars I would love to have, but I was told 40 or so year ago to pick a brand and learn it! No I have forgot half what I did know!
Just the other week, the wife heard my cardiologist say, with HIS own mouth, I need to stay active and keep on.
Since I sold a couple of projects before that revolation, I need a new project, a 64-5 Merc or Falcon maybe!!

I like the '64 - '66 falcon's. I think that it would be cool to convert the instrument to a 1966 mustang and the console too. Sorry, I'm not trying to high Jack your thread.

I grew up with Fords, my old man was not a big fan of GM of Chrysler, though he did have a few of each. I have owned everything from AMC to Yamaha, but I don't have a great preference for any specific brand. I've always liked 67 and up Darts, best friend had a 69 Dart GTS when we were in our teens, his brother had a 67 Dart GT, between those two I kinda got hooked on Darts. I've had lots of Fords, and still do, Mopars would be the second most I've owned, and lots of GMs too. My brother was all Ford for years, but now his collection is all GM, though he still has an F350 King Ranch for towing.
If I like the styling, it doesn't matter that much what nameplate it wears.

I dont mind what people drive

Of course, if you drive a jap car and claim it is American because it is assembled here, I take exception to that

Ha ha, I do the opposite. My daily driver is a Pontiac Vibe, I claim it's a Toyota. For those that don't know, the Vibe was the same car as the Toyota Matrix. The Vibe was built in a GM factory by GM workers with parts built and engineered by Toyota.

I'm a Dodge guy but I'm not brand loyal, if it's a cool car it's a cool car.

Aside from the Dart, my other vintage car is a 1985 Celica Supra. I also used to have a 1962 Ford Falcon station wagon.

I currently have two Land Rovers, a Volvo, an MG, a Triumph, a Chevy, a GMC, two Toyotas, a Jaguar and a Mazda (in addition to the Dart). Over the years I have had cars from 22 different manufacturers representing seven different countries.

I have never owned or driven a car or motorcycle that I didn't enjoy. I also couldn't imagine disliking someone because they chose to drive a different vehicle than I did. Imagine how boring life would be if we all did the same stuff all the time.

As my good friend used to say "I'm glad not everyone thinks a 71 Cuda is the baddest car there is , IT'S LEAVES MORE FOR ME!!!" R.I.P.

I don't like Jeeps...I know I know I've jeus seen to much stupid mechanical problems over the years...

MANUAL TRANS LAST LONGER THATS TH ESECRET

Brand doesn't matter to me. Cool is cool. I'm driving my 67 notch while I bring my 65 Comet Cyclone back from the edge. It's still on the rotisserie but I have all the parts and paint bought for it an safely stored. Damn PPG concept went up in price about triple since I last painted my notch. I'm taking a break during the cold weather but I'm running fuel lines and battery relocation until I can get back to body and paint.

Our Mopar Crowd sticks together pretty tight but we have Chevy, Ford, even Pontiac fans. A guy in town with Ramblers may hang out. It's all good.

I like a variety, my daily drivers are: 2000 Ram, 2015 Jeep, and a 2018 Chrysler

I'm a member on a Pontiac board and use the same name as I do here and Moparts. Not one of the guys there has given me any crap about it, and they will bend over backwards to help just like most everyone here does.
