I have the same welder and love it! I ordered the 50 ft cord made for it and also built a cart out of scrap. Really helps to be able to move it around since the leads are so short. You are doing a great job.

Yes it is going to be powder coated. i have a bit more work to do but she is getting close. hopefully next weekend i will have it all done.

Cool cart! Only thing I don't like are the air tires, I always have to air those up on my wagon every time I use it.

Is that American flag a vinyl decal?? If it is, you can embed it right into your powder and it'll stay there forever.

not really. its taken me 3 damn weeks to build the stupid thing. between work and going to the gym again i only get time on the weekends to do anything.
Regular stickers won't survive the heat, but vinyl decals do. Check this out. The first pic is of the partially cured base coat with a Harley gas tank vinyl decal installed, and the second is that same control arm and decal after a top coat of Peeka Blue, a candy translucent.

wow! learn something new everyday. i think i will play it safe and just put the sticker on afterwards. not sure on the color yet but local shop quoted me $125 cash to sand blast and coat it.

Geez, that's almost six hours' labor for me with your FABO discount. I'd think that thing could be done a little quicker than that, but it's tough to gauge the size from the pictures. When I redid Billy's old welding cart it was maybe a 3-hour effort (and that's generous). Too bad we're so far apart ...
