My Job Saved !!!!

It was a difficult day at my work place... A couple of months ago Cooper Tire announced it was closing one of its four North American plants after it did a production study.... Today they informed us that the Albany, Ga. plant would be the one closing (I work at the Texarkana, Ar. plant )..... Although I am very happy to still have my job, I am also very saddened by the fact that over 1200 workers just lost theirs....These are very tough times in The U.S.A........ Bitter Sweet !!!!

That's good to hear. Everybody is in the same boat. over 200 people at Frontier Airlines were almost laid off. Instead we got unpaid furloughs during times with no work. It could be worse.

Things are tuff all over. Thats for sure. Good to here you still have a job. Now a days that is something to be gratful for.

Things are tough here in Canada also.Ive worked hard for GM for 29 years and just got my layoff notice today Merry Xmas.Who knows whats going to happen maybe narchy if they shut down.
