yeah,got a fuel pressure problem.gonna try a bypass reg and see if it solves te prob...:banghead:
 
Damn that sucks. You'll get it, its all about tweaking everything to work harmoniously. F-ing machines.
 
yeah i will get it.was wondering some bypass regulators look the same as a dead head except for the hole in the side.i have an extra now, maybe i will drill it tap it and run a return line with a small holley jet in it and see how that works.ichin to spray it ....been out flogging it the last couple days and would like to finally get itdone.got to move and dont have aclue where we are going so this takes off the stress. brett i got you man dont sweat it. soon

well my friends,i found a place.actually my wife found it.we are still short on the move in money but the owner took it off the market.now just have to find some broken cars to fix,lol guess i'll be working on some chevies.....lol:-\"

well thanks guys,deal fell through....now i wont trust a single agents word .so still looking.bright side,the guy that painted saetuns dart recommended me to put together one of his customers cars.its a 73 challenger.he has been scammed and wants me to assemble his car .so i can make some money doing that for now....
 
Man that sucks, sorry to hear that man. Hey funny you should mention 73 challenger I bought a set of tail lights and housings at a swap meet for a 73. If he ends up needing them let me know because I have no use for them and they are OE. Hope things work out for you mike, hang in there.

his arent the best.i will see if he is interested.worked down at devils den last week,installed the atomic efi on one of the oakland raiders cars.it was as easy as advertised to install.it went on a 71 chevelle 454 smog engine,th 350,12 bolt.car was nice excepting the wheels andfloorpans lol.fred and wilma would have been right at home!View attachment Img_130918105128(1).jpg

also those aluminum collector gaskets they were 18 bucks.but worth it it blew the paper gaskets out with a quickness...anyonewant to trade or buy that tranny pan?almost forgot the bypass deal sure made the fuelpump quieter!just got to install the gauge and see if it cured the problem...
 
Aluminum, collector gaskets, great choice. .Kinda surprised ,on the trans pan. Usually stock works,applied correctly.

**** i put it on with the bolts holding the gasket (like always) except the two on the driver side that the b and m bracket uses tightened it up filled it then watched trans fluid pour out as fast as i poured it in.damn gasket folded into the pan in that damn spot.pulled it rightback off saw that corrected it and filled it again,good thing i had more fluid.hate doing **** twice....
 
saetun came by today ,let him test out the ride.after the initial getting used to it it was all good.he said he likes it.he had fun.never made it past 5000 rpm though.....(pulls really hard from 5000-6800):D
 
Yeah, im gonna need to get used to the torque. The damn tires broke loose when i shifted to 2nd at 4k. Helluva fun car!!!
 
made its first trip to the drags.went tothe semifinals.car ran a best of 12.84@104 with a 1.81 60 foot.really thought it would be quicker but didnt do anything to it did not even open the hood except for the tech guy....
 
Was that on the spray mike? I know that sucker has way more in her than that. Carb too big? Was it consistent? Would have liked to see her go. Let me know next outing.
