I've been searching for a prime example of a factory Jack mounted and then bam you post a great pic. One favor if you could can you post a few more with the trunk mat pulled back so I can get a better view.

Will do! I'll get you some better pics tomorrow.

Send it to a pro to be detailed and a set of wheels.
Best money you'll ever spend on that car.
Very nice !!!

Very nice !!!

Just make sure the "pro" knows its original enamel and not base/clear. I love doing original paint cars.

The way it looks, I would NOT paint that car under any circumstances.

They only have original paint once!

i agree.. only original once...

seems like a good price. since it has disc brakes on it does it also have a factory 8 3/4 rear ??

Yep, has a 8 3/4 with 741 case.

While bleeding the brakes tonight I found out it has the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers and 10" rear drums. Honestly, it was the first time I have ever touched a set of those calipers! Kind of freaked me out looking for the bleeder!

love the car! detail it it & enjoy it . Very nice score !

If you wife really wants purple...replace the side stripes with a purple stripe....at least then it would be subtle and understated...

Like most people have said...I would just leave the paint alone...you have a good looking car there.

Paul

...I thought about just keeping it original but the wife isn't thrilled with the paint color. She wants it to be purple and not Plum Crazy purple. Purple with a green interior...:banghead: I honestly don't know what to do on that front. I know for sure I won't do anything that can't be returned to stock easy enough..

i say you done very good!nice duster...

Not many like that to be found. Worth every penny.

hmmm, that car looks familiar, like ive seen it before ?

nice to see some more pics of it and at that price, it sounds like a great deal too

thanks :)

i figured instead of wearing you down with all my questions i'd find a broader sounding board

hey, here is something that ive been wondering, if i were to install a 3800 RPM stall converter and once i hit the highway the RPM drops below 3800 RPM will it disengage?

25918 members and still you're the one who gets my questions
now thats funny

I got some pics for you finally. Sorry, I couldn't pull the mat back as I just have too much crap in there right now. Hope these pics help! If not, I can get better ones for you later. Let me know!

That works for me and good timing as I just finish restoring my Jack and tire iron. Now I need to by the spring. Can you get the part number off the back of the Jack hook? I'm curious if you have the removable hook.

Nice Duster....I just found my set of 70 Plymouth hubcaps after 30 years that look just like those, they came off of my Sport Satellite. They were in my brother's shed this whole time. That is a weird color combo...Beige and green. Strange what was ordered back then.
