My wife got me a 1947 Plymouth Deluxe for Valentines day. I have been after this car for over 3 years and finally the owner said yes. 90% restored and original, only 38,000 original miles, and runs like a sewing machine.

outside of the fake bullet holes that thing is sweeeeet

that sure is sweet! is it still flathead 6?

I peeled off the stupid bullet hole stickers and I removed the goofy foot shaped gas pedal yesterday.

Yes it is the original motor and transmission that came with the car in 47. Right now I'm working on gathering up everything I need to convert it to 12V.

Nice car. A buddy of mine had a '41 Plymouth Coupe back in the late 1970s. It was a blast to drive and got a lot of thumbs up from people. Good find.

If you wanna get rid of the goofy gas pedal, let me know:glasses7:

and looks like a good find. its a two door to boot. Looks like it all there too

This ought to get ya started! 1947, the year I was born and the year of the Jeep we almost dealt on. The old flatheads can be tweeked a bit.
Also, check out rusty hope (dot) com for disk brake conversions and more.
