Hey Guys,

took very long for me to put this drivetrain together, now i´m really happy - it came to life without bigger problems (my first complete home built engine). Turn up the volume and listen :D

408 cui SB, 10:1 compression, RHS X-Heads from IMM Engines, Comp XR286HR hydraulic roller cam - i expect 450-480 horses from this combination. Sounds very healthy....what do you think?

It seems that it likes 20° and more initial timing - is this normal for these strokers?

best regards

Michael

20° or more is fine. Set total advance at 34° and don't use the vacuum advance! Sounds good!!

thanks guys, i´ll set initial advance to 20° and limit total to 34° - next time i´ll tell you how it works in the racers forum....:D

Sounds pretty nice.
Now you get to decide if you want to throw a set of 3.23's at it and scare people on the Autobahn , or a 3.91 or deeper to terrorize the folks in town. :D
Great job !
