My Other 340

I was cleaning my old rifle after another hunting season closed, and thinking about where we went and the things we accomplished this year. I realized that this was the 25th season together. I thought back to many great adventures and wonder how many more there might be.

I've only had to take my "other 340" out 3 times and I'm not nearly as nostalgic about those...

Those Texas deer armor plated? ;-)
Would love to have one from that era with the carved wood stock. Everything is composite now.

I always figured that I would have to destroy 3 Leopold's before paying for a Swarovski I've tried and tried and the first one is still solid! there is one problem the last few years though....

This prolly says too much about me but yeah thats a drugstore 125 reading lens jammed in there. I can see the target and the reticle at the same time now. Has anybody tried these? Scope Aid: Best Rifle Scope Lenses for Hunting and Shooting

I always thought I'd get to go Cariboo hunting someday.... I never have had to chase one down or use two rounds though!
