I like home made tools.
Have you used it yet?
If you changing different diameter torsion bars you might have a clamping issue.
Good luck.

yup works good!!! its was all scrap i had + $3 for the U-bolt at ACE... i have FFI 1 in. HD/Street bars so anything smaller then that im ok...

Cool tool. Although I did nit have much of an issue removing mine. Got lucky I guess. But next time I take them out it will be with a cutting torch. As I'm going to install a mustang 2 front end. I have no room up front for headers. Stupid 3rd gem Hemi, stupid me building headers for a front mount twin turbo set up. Oh well.

Anyway cool tool. I'll keep it in mind for another build.

I thought I was going to see a pair of vise grips and a BMFH. :D Nice work, effective tool on a budget. I love to see stuff like this!

Just unload the entire front clip on jackstands behind the tire and they almost come out by hand. But a cool tool none the less.

I also make my own tools..........more to be made yet.....
