well i guess every ones got an idea of thats happening . i've got a great wife . i was talking to her about getting blown , not my d...k but a 6 71 supercharger for one of my projects . she said i'll buy it for you . and low n behold she did just that . we meet up with a member from here that had a 6 71 package for an rb motor . now i'll plant the rotors type gmc huffer atop a rb i'm putting in a 60 d100 project i'm building . she's the greatest . oh yes i'll be removing the 6pck setup , and adding a vac pimp or changing the vac brake booster for a gm hydo so i can use the power steering to help with the brakes .

that 60 d100 is a bunch of cast off parts , from the coilover dropped four bar setup to its gauges , i call it ''phankendodge '' and now that rear end must come down and much bigger rims and tire and a narrower re and some wheel house tubing is due for the bigger rubber and the rear frame and suspension , coilovers again or maybe charge the front to torsion bars and do the rear with t bars too .

I know of a '60 that's been sitting in a guy's driveway near me that hasn't been touched in a while, looks quite solid actually. I've been wondering if he's ever gonna do anything with it or if it could be bought.
I always liked that series and the ones right after them.

volaredon , its gone under alot of changes since it came my way . but its a cool piece and its the short lived bed , just two years of that bed . than chrysler/dodge sold the dies to studebaker for there pickup line . i've got another 60 d100 some bed , its ruffer than the one i'm doing now . but it just might be a donner , my beds pretty nice , would be a shame to cut up that one for tubs and a raised floor .

Looks like a awesome project, the torsion bar suspension would be a big improvement. My restored 59 Sweptside has been restored to original condition and still rides like a truck. The box sides were short lived, early 59-60

well she's is great and i've got her all to myself , just going to be stingy with her . i dated her for some 13 years just had to make sure she is the one , lol . she stood the test of time . she's all mine . here she is waiting on me taking pics .
