Passenger front by horns on a 1968 Dart. Any idea what it's for? Thanks.

Could it be extra? All lights are working and appear to be connected with factory connections. No cuts or splices in the harness.

The shop manual claims it is the right front turn/ park lamp connector

It shows the fender turn indicators (if equipped) and the side markers are a single wire bullet

The top turn and side markers are bullet. I'll have to check it out because the lights are all working.

It does look like a lighting connector. Only thing other than lights I can think of that would be in that area is low pressure switch of a/c harness.

1968 Valiant diagram shows a two-pin connector with two BLK-TAN wires and a BLK-YEL wire going to the Turn Signal and Park Lamp bulbs.

Yup

3 wires going to it. Has to be a lighting wire for a non turn signal light, one black/brown wire goes to another light. Parking light more then likely.

I always mistakenly refer to the parking lamp as a marker lamp and yes it requires 3 wires because it is also a turn signal , when it comes to things electrical once 67Dart273 speaks you listen , trust me -he da man .
