It looks like it was a starter relay. But where is the big stud that the battery + connects to? And yes, you need it!

I suppose it could be a starter relay, but I doubt it. The spade orientation doesn't look right. Nor does it look right for a horn relay.So.....IDK........ either

Well the green wire says horn relay to me. My 66 B-Cuda horn wires are green.

I'm thankful for your help with.. Hope this is more helpful to anyone as seeing the full placement of the starter relay as to the left of the harness connection point.. the part I need to replace is to the right of.. in the empty spot above the master cylinder

Yes, horn relay, they moved it under the dash in later years.

Factory one
Never has since I owned the car..
I only got concerned about the relay when I saw the broken off connector..
Didn't dare even turn the key
Whereas protect and respect..
