64-65 slant six throttle mechanism, its mounted inside the car in the fire wall where there are three holes with a u shape horse shoe reinforcement bracket. That's where the rod goes through the fire wall to the back of the carb.

What he said! I just removed mine to install a v8 gas pedal, as part of my super six conversion.

That make sense, we are converting to a cable, so I don’t need it. We welded up the holes a couple of years ago, I have crap for brains. Thanks for the answer
