Anyone know of a good machine shop for narrowing 8.75 axle shafts? Preferably in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.

ive heard there are only a couple in the USA. on the west coast try dutchman in portland oregon.

i had mine cut and dutchman did an excellant job

Moser used to do it. But that was awhile ago, don't know if they still do.

So I'm guessing no one has a good idea of the going price to do it?

i paid dutchman $85 for the shortening and $60 hurry up charge. (i got put to the front of the line. only took an hour)
