Nascar 2012

NASCAR is a dinosaur that's too stupid to find a tar pit. NHRA licks it.

I'd rather watch 10.5 (not W) racing any day.

If it doesn't have doors, it isn't a car. And if it isn't a car. WHO CARES?

Well Im glad I didnt take heat directly.. LOL .. I love the Nascar arguments myself.. I wish I was around during its hey day.. the run what you brung era, buy on monday what was raced on sunday.. I watch shows about it.. and it does seem cool.... despite where it has gone, I still enjoy it.. And thats what makes us all individuals.. but the funny thing to me, is so far the fast majority of responses here (and people I talk to in everyday life) are pretty much all against Nascar... However tens of thousands of people tune in and show up at the track.. reminds of the tv show Baywatch.. no matter who you talked to, the answer was the same.. 'I dont watch that show.. its gay, its stupid...etc'.. yet it was one of the highest rated shows for years LMAO.. someone was a closet baywatch fan.. apparently Nascar fans are the same LOL....

I watch NASCAR and it's a fun day when the announcers are doing there job's..
When I here a name I want to hear if it's a Dodge or an X brand ..
I support them by watching, I don't own a NASCAR shirt But I do have a NASCAR camo cap
BUT :bootysha: I will say8) It ain't what it use to be
They Better Fix it

I think just about everyone I know, (at least guys my age) were sitting in front of the 'tube' that famous and unforgettable February in 1979 watcing the very first pole to pole TV covered Datona 500 while evrything from Iowa east was snowed in by a MAJOR winter storm. It was quite a treat to see that Yarborough/Allison punchfest at the infield of turn 3. This is what legends were made of. Petty wins it too. TOO MUCH!! To me this was what Nascar was about. After all it started with Booze Runners back in the day! BUT NOW??? Drivers have to be sensitive to the other drivers. Watch out not to bump that bumper in the turn, You rubbed me on the back staightaway, you blocked me and pushed me below the yellow line, the list goes on but you get my drift. These 'pansies' driving these cars today are a far cry from Nascar divers. Too much whining and crying going on. Nothing frosts my cookies more than hearing a driver whine about being in the 'Chase' and other drivers not in the 'Chase' not giving right of way. And the cars?? Dont get me started!! I am a big fan of the old Nascar and watch old races for my entertainment. I think they are trying way too hard to make these guys diplomatic and have fogotten what it is all about. As for Toyota, put a bunch of them in the races and we will get some real entertainment. With gas pedals sticking to the floor and bad brakes it will be exiting again. NOW you will see some REAL driving!!!!
