I lost interest in nascar after Dale died. They had the electric mustang at Norwalk last year. It would be interesting to see a STOCK tesla or other stock vehicle run Daytona. Im thinking "energizer 50"...you know 500 miles at top speed wont happen.

I got lucky enough to see the Cup cars the very last year they ran big blocks at Ontario Motor Speedway.
About 10 rows up from the catch fence, entrance to turn #1 . What a rush!

Never was a Nascar fan, I don't knock it but could really care less. But if it happens there, what's next, Drag racing?

They are already making exibition runs with Electric Mustangs . Fast but for me the sound of an internal Combustion Engine is what attracts me to Racing in any form .
