Nearing completion on the Dart, took it out for a spin today

Took the Dart out for a ride today, went town, had lunch, then for a little drive in the country.

Running pretty good, but driveing an old dart with no air conditioning on a 90 degree day, yikes I was sweating up a storm. Guess i'm spoiled by the comforts of newer cars.

Anyway, I snapped a few photos to share with you guys.

Beautiful Dart! Not a color combo you see all the time.
Only thing is you've got to improve your 'natural' AC - from the pics it looks like you've almost got "2-60" air right now. Put the front windows down all the way, put the rear windows down, get it up to 60 mph and you'll have "4-60".
One of the things I love about older cars is you can put all the windows down and still control the air inside by the wind wings.

The wheels are the ones I got off ebay.

They are Revolution wheels Classic 100's (licensed by American racing)

Just get on ebay motors and seach for Rev Wheels Classic 100

they come in different finishes and lots of sizes, and good price too.

No wonder it was so hot driving today, it wasn't 90, I was just guessing.

Just watching the news.. it was 99 in Denver today, suppose to be 100 tomorrow.

Weird, usually doesn't get this hot till july or august.
