I was wondering if anyone would trade me an a body 8 3/4 housing that is in good conditon for a 65 b-body housing? and if you have axles i will trade you for a set bbody axles with good bearings installed
 
Bill if you plan on using an after market rim you can get away with the B body rim by adding an extra inch of backspacing. So instead of running 4.5" backspacing with the a body rear you would need 5.5" backspacing.

Adam, this applies to b-body 8 3/4s up to '67 correct?
 
I have to check all the dimension but I think they are all pretty close.
 
Adam... they are the same width.... 62-70 are the ones u are talkin about were u can move the perchases in 1.2" on each side and increase the back spacing.
