Need advice...

Hi-
Want to paint the drums on my '68 Barracuda (can't stand the "rust"
color peeking out behind the Cragars anymore).
Car is Forest Green...was thinking black drums.
Any other color suggestions?
What type of paint (brand)...high temp?
Also, which is correct for my year...the clear plastic door lock ferrules
or stainless?

i like the semi gloss on drums. they just look nice and clean with it.

i usually use rustolium hard hat paint. no primer.

as far as type of paint, I have used engine paint as well as header paint (or wood-stove paint). If you are braking hard, the drums might get a bit o nthe hot side for engine paint though.
