That's fine and great if you're sure those are what belong in there. There was an issue here some time ago where someone had put the (older) 13/16 hex plugs into a (newer) "peanut plug" /6, and there isn't room for a socket on e'm!!!

How did they get them in without a socket?

Don'no, I wasn't there, LOL. I'm assuming they weren't tight.

It is hard for me to imagine not being able to see the plug seats on the passenger side bank, cylinders 4 or 6! New cameras also let you take pictures where your eye cannot go to.

Nothing wrong with Autolite plugs. In fact, I won't use anything else....in anything I own that uses spark plugs.
My 440 had Autolite 85's in it when I bought it. The car wouldn't run for squat, and would constantly stall. I replaced them with 86's, and it's been running like a scalded moose for almost 4 years now.
One other thing -- Autolite 86's are the same plug used in a '69 350 horse Vette. Just an FYI I know it really makes no difference, but just thought I'd give an example.

Bottom line, I think the 85 is too cold for your application, and I recommend replacing them with 86's.
