No way to tell from al that BUT I CAN TELL YOU that a 76 is WAY DIFFERENT. For one thing a 76 uses an "external shunt" ammeter, so that much of the harness won't match for sure

EDIT I see it is out of a Challenger. You are on your own. There are many differences in wiring between the two. "I think" you are asking for trouble.

Only way to go about it (???is the bulkhead connector even the same? doubt it???)

.......would be to obtain factory wiring diagrams for both vehicles and do a wire by wire comparison

If you are as familiar with the wiring in these girls as I am you might pull this off but the very fact that you "asked this question" suggests you might be up to your neck.

WHAT IS the actual car and WHAT DO you have of the original harness, and WHAT IS actually wrong with it?

I helped part out a ‘76 Dart just a bit ago and the bulkhead connector was completely different than any other that I have seen. It had 4 slots and 5 plugs on the engine bay side.

Add that you need the amp gauge shunt and I would say you are looking for ‘76 only parts.

BTW, the hole in the firewall for the bulkhead connector wasn’t even the same as the earlier years. So I don’t think you could even swap both the engine and dash harness from an earlier car and make it work.

I don’t know, maybe some of the earlier engine harness would plug in and work? But I am certain the dash side of the plug will have to be ‘76 to fit the hole in the firewall.

Next time I go through my duster I'm pitching that old harness in the garbage and just rewiring it with a new aftermarket harness and new aftermarket gauges...
It's hard to miss when it says left rear turn signal all the way down the wire every 6 in....
