Need Help For Change over to slicks for the track

4:88 and a 28" tall tire is way outta your rpm limit. That thing will be buzzin 7500
 
My car went through the traps at 5800-6000 with Hoosier 26/9 X 15 slicks and a 3.91 SG rear. Car ran 13.0's @ 105 mph (73 dart sport 340/727 3500 stall).

I ran those slicks for two seasons (like 300 runs) with Kuhmo 195/75 R 14 front tires, never had any issues with mixing radials and bias ply tires.

see using that same set up im trapping 5K even... so i need at more gear to get there especially adding a 28" tire...

and thanks for the heads up on front runners!
