This was on my 73 duster for years and needs to be replaced. The remanufactured units don't include a pulley so I went to a mopar collecter I know to get a new pulley as mine was warped. He believed that since the rim of the pulley was bent outward, the wrong size crankshaft pulley was installed or a "big block federal" pump was installed at one point. He said there was a early big block pump with a larger inlet tube.
What I know..
-part number is #2587955
-thread size for out is half inch and the tube is about 3/8.
-inlet looks to be the smaller kind. Like about the size of a vacuum hose.
-online souces only make reference to ONE kind only of federal pump..69-75 I believe.

I can order a pump for my year of car but will the one I get be the same as the one I have? Its special order from united states and not returnable. Heres a picture.

Thanks abodyjoe. But it appears that there could be potentially 3 different models of federal pumps no.?
