need help id'ing ACDELCO C-1308 vacuum advance

Hey y'all,

Can anyone id this vacuum advance for me? It's listed on Ebay as fitting 1965 barracuda 273 but doesn't indicate 2 or 4 bbl, if there is a difference I don't know. I did a google search and absolutely nothing came back.

You need to see what advance is marked on the arm and then go to your FSM in section 8 and see what the vacuum advance is.

You also have to watch the shape of your arm also there are two a in and a out. These are B/rb but mirror image for a slant/LA

the one with the hex is adjustable.
The other, IDK

I am wanting to add the adjustable can and I may have to restrict the total advance as well.

The adj can will not reduce the amount of advance, it just sets the rate of advance. Total is on the arm in distributor degrees usually. I wish some one mad a fully adjustable vac advance for Mopar. The FBO plate also will not do it that is mechanical advance only.

100% with you there man. Right now I'm sure there's something being left on the table without a properly set up vacuum advance

Isn't a 4bbl one.......those use a cast iron Prestolite dual point, and an advance with a thread-on vacuum nipple.
