I need to know which rods are better for a stroker motor .
I will be using a 440 source kit and wanted to know if H or I beams would be best suited for a street strip car .](*,)

I am using a hyd roller cam with .610 lift 285 duration it will require a 3800-4000 stall

Will use Stealth heads cnc ported

I will be putting 150 hp of nos with a progressive controller .

any input will be appericated

Brandon has a budget set of I beams. Ibeams are the lithgtesst and strongest for the weight... but H beams are what the kit typically comes with and will be fine if not a better choice for your use.

H-beam rods will do the trick for your build.
I think you are pushing the limit on the stealth heads.
The cnc'd heads are good for about 750 hp.
With 150 hp you should be close to that level of hp.

Check out their Platinum series I-Beam rods - they get my vote - really good rod.

H beams are stronger. I beams are lighter.

X-beams get the best of both worlds, but are $$$.
