Need help to identify 727 trans

-
Read my earlier post. You need a slip joint (sliding yoke) transmission for a car application. There is only one length of slip joint 727. The truck and RV transmissions have a short tailshaft and fixed yoke. There is no strength difference in the two tailshafts, however the truck trans will have extra planetaries and clutches.
This was originally a short tail converted by previous owner

Yep, so you likely have the good heavy duty bits inside and the long tailshaft that you need.It would ge a good idea to pull it apart to make sure it has a bolt in sprag clutch (and put one in if it doesnt. The sprag clutch is the weak link in these transmissions, google 727 sprag failure).

I need a yoke to attach the drive shaft if anyone has one

read 14,15,16 you said they never made a short tail shaft after my t-350 t-400 comment dipshit!

Roy, This is strictly for you. You are so stupid that you got in on this and made a asshole comment that started with #12

I will post #15, cut and paste it

Talking about short/long tail shafts. Maybe on a Turbo 350 or 400, not a Mopar 727.

You said not a mopar 727

then I said #16 they never made a short shaft

this was questioning your comment (not a mopar 727)

and then you call my a dipshit, a moron,

I have built more 727's than I can count. my first one was in 1976

Oh ya you did get one thing right I was a certified GM tech for Cadillac

for 15 years, so I really don't think you have a clue what you are

talking about.
