As the title says, I Need photos of INSTALLED 440Source A/C body 547 oil pan on an A Body showing the idler arm clearance.

I am in the middle of a redo on my 512 engine and will be replacing the old oil pan and considering using this pan.

My engine has a stud gridle so the pan will set a little lower.

Photos may help in determining if this pan will work out.

Thanks in advance,

I just bought that pan. Quality seems good. Sits flat on the engine. The extra thick is solid without being excessive, it's nice. It appears to be identical to a187 pan just slightly deeper.
The drain plug is a little high on the pan possibly leaving a slight amount of oil in the bottom between oil changes. 1 cup? I think that is on all the new stamped 547 pans. Overall happy with the pan.
Sorry I have no installed pics at this time. I plan on installing in the car with just a empty block. I will modify at this point if necessary. Anything close will be opened up.
Some members have pics on line where they had to clearance the pan. Others seem to clear. I want to avoid the kick in the balls of installing an assembled painted engine and have it touch. LOL
I also got the 440 source 1/2 pickup and their windage tray. The 547 pan seems shallower on the front than other pans and the Milidon style tray hits. This can be remidid by trimming I suppose. Debating on the OEM style pickup or Milidon I also have.
Can post install pics of the mock-up. But I am a couple weeks out. But I think results vary. Some variables are engine installed height, side to side, which drag link 73 up?, and possibly how the stops on the knuckle are set limiting turns lock to lock?
