Need Quick Help...bell housing bolt size

I am buying a used engine stand in a couple hours and need to know the diameter and thread pitch of the bolts that hold the engine to the stand. Also, how much thread depth will I need in to the block.

My engine is 30 minutes away and I would like to buy some grade 8 bolts on the way so that I can get it up off the floor today. Thanks!!

mine are a 3/8" bolt, course thread. dont remember the length...go all the way in the block if you can, if the bolt is too long, shim with a couple washers...

Cool. Thanks! I'll buy a hand full of flat washers. Does anyone have a block handy that they can stick a pencil in and measure how deep the bolt holes are?
