I have a 65 Valiant that I mini tubbed and installed a USCT inboard spring kit. I will be using 15"x10" wheels and 10-11" tires. I need suggestions on what would be the correct backspacing for this combination. I don't want to order the wrong wheels and go through the greif of returning/shipping them back. I also need suggestions for a wheel source that won't break the bank. Thanks in advance.

Not being smart, but very serious. None of these cars is the same. They aren't even the same side to side, so here's my recommendation.

6" should be safe for an ugly wheel. You wanna look cool, you gonna need to narrow the axle.

Drop a plumb from the outside and inside lip and measure from that string to where the wheel mounts on the axle. That's the only way to know for sure.

Another option is to get it in the air and try a wheel that you already have, measure that, and make the necessary adjustments to those numbers when you order.

What rear? From what car? What bolt pattern. Is the mini tub finished?

I'd get ANY wheel laying around the house with the right bolt pattern, measure the backspace, bolt it on and see what changes need to be made for a bigger wheel.
See how close it is to the springs, does the new wheel need to be closer?
We would have NO IDEA what would fit, without LOTS more information.

(I've got a pair of 10" wheels [you do know that a ten inch wheel is really at least eleven inches wide, right?] that have 4.5" bs, and a pair of 10.5s with 7 1/4" backspace. Can't tell which would fit.)

Mopowers covered it while I was typing....slowly

Has anybody had any luck with one of the wheel back spacing tools. You can find them pretty cheap now. I have seen them on line but have never used one before.

12 inch wheel 7 1/2 back space, 10 inch wheel 6 1/2 Back space. That is with Big bolt pattern axles. If you are using your small bolt axles and drilling them Big bolt then subtract 1/2 inch and make the 6 inch back space.

I used the Percy's wheel rite to get my wheels centered in the wheel with no rubbing. It does take a bit of time to set up a simulated tire on it and then set up the back space but worth the time. I did not mini tub but did move my springs inboard. my rear rims are +24mm with a 5.95 back space. . Rear rims are 17 X 9.

If you mini-tubbed it, and moved the springs under the frame, and didn't narrow the rear......old man Mopar's recommendation is probably very good.
The 10.5s with 7 1/4 bs i mentioned before were custom made by centerline for exactly the above situation. 15x7 front half, 15x14 back half.
I think you might need something very similar.

Define “break the bank” for us too.

My Billet Specialties Street Lites were $1200 per pair. You chose width and backspacing.

I also looked at WheelSmith to build custom aluminum rims so I could keep my dog dish caps and they were through the roof…$3000+

WheelSmith does have less expensive rims if you’re okay with steel smoothies and a plain cap

My axle is 55 wide. Wheel mount to wheel mount. I run 15x10 6.5 back space.

Nice!! Do you have to unbolt anything in the rear suspension to get those tires off?
I need to unbolt the shocks. I drop one side of the axle as well. It sucks but I will not cut my quarter panel lol.

Thats an epic fitment, obviously tubbed but did you also have to do work to the outer side of the tub as i am finding that to tuck like you have my rubber will hit the outer side of the tub as it steps in from the quarter panel.
However i am only using a 275 on a 8.5inch rim with shortened diff and spring offsets
