I would like to get new shocks for our 70 Dart. Got the car in December and the P.O. had Calvert single adj. shocks in the rear and 90/10's in the box for the front. Its a slant six car right now but he was planning on a 8 swap, street/strip combo, so he was buying parts accordingly. I'm switching directions and just want a nice driving streeter. I've swapped out the 6 cyl leafs for some 8 cyl leafs that I had, and am planning on adding front and rear sway bars and better torsion bars as I go.

Depends on how far you plan to take the car into canyon carving. For starters, plain old Monroe gas shocks are a HUGE improvement over the shocks that these cars originally came with.

Lots of good comments about the Bilsteins, gotta decide if I want to take the plunge. Thanks Jim, I'll consider the Monroes.

I see Monroe Matics on Rock Auto, are those the ones your referring to?
